Diddy’s ex-assistant claims she was kidnapped, rapper threatened to kill her due to Suge Knight ties: testimony

Capricorn Clark, a former employee of Sean “Diddy” Combs, testified on Tuesday during his sex-trafficking trial, sharing disturbing experiences from her time working for him in the early 2000s.

Clark, who previously worked for Suge Knight at Death Row Records before joining Combs, claimed that she faced threats and was kidnapped while employed by the music mogul.

According to Clark’s testimony, Combs once confronted her after discovering her past connection to Suge Knight, telling her, “he didn’t know that I had anything to do with Suge Knight and that if anything happened, he would have to kill me.” She described him as being “very serious,” and noted, “I felt like there was some gravitas that he had some issues with Suge.”

Clark also recounted an incident in which Paul “Uncle Paulie” Offord, Combs’ head of security, allegedly took her to the Bad Boy offices for a series of lie detector tests following the disappearance of some of Combs’ jewelry.

She testified that she was told she had been “brought to the building to take a lie detector test to figure out what happened with the jewelry.” Offord allegedly warned her, “if you fail this test, they’re going to throw you in the East River.”

Clark stated that the tests continued for five consecutive days, with Offord returning her to the office each morning. She said they told her the process would continue until they “got to the bottom” of the missing items.

Although most of the results were “inconclusive,” she was permitted to keep her job. She explained that she chose to return to work out of fear, saying, “I didn’t like the threats. I just wanted to get through it.”

During her time at Bad Boy, Clark held multiple roles, including marketing director for Sean John and later as Casandra “Cassie” Ventura’s creative director from 2016 to 2018. Clark testified that she developed a close relationship with Ventura, who once confided in her about a brief romance with rapper Kid Cudi in 2011.

Last week, Kid Cudi testified that Clark had told him Combs broke into his Los Angeles home out of jealousy regarding the relationship with Ventura. He recalled arriving home to find several opened Christmas gifts, including one from Chanel, and his dog locked in the bathroom. He also spoke about a separate incident involving his car being set on fire.

Clark testified that when Combs found out about Ventura’s relationship with Cudi, he allegedly told her, “Get dressed, we’re going to go kill this man,” while carrying a gun.

She claimed she was later “kidnapped” by Combs and his team and that he had entered her apartment building by threatening her doorman with a gun. The doorman was reportedly fired after the incident.

Additionally, Clark testified that Combs had physically assaulted her on at least one occasion by pushing her. She also claimed to have witnessed him repeatedly kick Ventura during a fight.

Clark is among several former Combs employees who have testified in the ongoing federal trial. Another former assistant, George Kaplan, took the stand on May 21, stating that he witnessed Combs being violent toward Ventura and that he helped arrange hotel rooms for alleged “Freak-Offs.”

Federal prosecutors have charged Combs with racketeering, alleging that he used his businesses, including Combs Enterprise, to conduct illegal activities. He is also facing charges of sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
