Emotional Cardi B Says She Hopes Offset Will ‘Die Slow’ After He Allegedly Files for Spousal Support amid Divorce

Cardi B has spoken out candidly about Offset amid their ongoing divorce.

On Friday, May 30, during a conversation with fans on X Spaces, the Grammy-winning rapper, 32, addressed her estranged husband just one day after TMZ reported that Offset, 33, had submitted an amended divorce response earlier this month, requesting spousal support.

Shortly after waking up, Cardi responded to claims made by a spokesperson for Offset, who told The Breakfast Club that Cardi was demanding “everything” in the divorce.

“The fact that I’m waking up right now to see that this f— n–– and his f— ass team — I know it’s not his team, I know it’s his bitch ass — gonna tell The Breakfast Club the only reason why this motherf––er asking for spousal support [is] because I was asking for everything and because I don’t be with my kids… Yo, you such a f––ing p–– ass n––,” Cardi said, according to a clip of her comments shared by Hollywood Unlocked.

She then added, “Word to my mother. I want you to die, but I want you to die f—ing slow, n––. When you die, n––, I want you to die slow in the bed. And when you die, n––, you gotta think of me.”

Cardi claimed she had asked for “no child support” in the updated divorce filing, saying she simply wanted to be “done with this marriage.” She made it clear that Offset is “allowed to see my kids.”

The couple — who tied the knot in 2017 — share three children: daughter Kulture Kiari, 6½, son Wave Set, 3½, and a baby girl born in September 2024. Offset also has three other children from previous relationships: sons Jordan, 15, and Kody, 10, and daughter Kalea Marie, 10.

Offset’s rep has not yet commented publicly on the matter as of Friday, May 30.

Cardi further alleged that Offset has not been present for the children as much as he could have. “There is not one day he’s not allowed to see my kids, okay? He stood up my kids three times,” she said, also stating that he has only seen their youngest child “only like five times.”

“And I’ve been trying to save your face… Stop playing, because you don’t want to look like less of a bitch ass n––,” she continued. “You talk to the kids almost every single day. You call the kids almost every single day. I allow you to talk to the kids every single day. If I allow you to talk to the kids, why would I not allow you to see the kids?”

Despite the turmoil, Cardi emphasized her wish for the children to feel loved by both parents: “I want my kids to feel the love of both parents, even if we’re not together,” she said, while noting that Offset hasn’t seen the children since March.

TMZ initially revealed on Thursday that Offset is asking for an unspecified amount of spousal support in the revised court filing, in which he’s also requesting joint custody.

In response, The Breakfast Club shared comments from Offset’s spokesperson, claiming the rapper “does not need the money” and that Cardi “was trying to come at him on things that were not fair.” The rep stated Offset’s legal team filed for support because Cardi was allegedly seeking “everything” — including cars and property — and accused her of “barely ever with their kids.”

Cardi first filed for divorce from Offset in September 2020 but later reconciled. She filed again in July 2024.
