Brooklyn Beckham has made a noticeable change to one of his tattoos amid growing tension within the Beckham family.
In a Glamour photoshoot from April (published Monday), the 26-year-old posed shirtless, and his chest tattoo reading “mama’s boy” appeared partially obscured by new floral ink resembling wife Nicola Peltz’s bridal bouquet.
He also seemed to have added a flower and dragon tattoo over his shoulder, where a heart design with the word “Mum” once stood.
However, a source close to Brooklyn told Page Six that the original tattoos honoring his mom, Victoria Beckham, haven’t been removed. “Anyone can look at the photo and see ‘mama’s boy’ is still right there, it was never covered up,” the source claimed.
Brooklyn and Nicola married in April 2022 after dating since 2019 and getting engaged in 2020. Brooklyn has since gotten over 70 tattoos in her honor, including her portrait, their wedding vows, and “Peltz” in cursive above his chest. Nicola has also tattooed his name on her back.
Rumors of tension between Nicola and Victoria have circulated since the wedding, with People reporting that Victoria allegedly made Nicola “run from the room crying” after interrupting the couple’s first dance.
In April, TMZ reported that Brooklyn and his brother Romeo are no longer speaking, following a social media incident where Romeo and Cruz appeared to mock Nicola.
According to insiders, Nicola’s outspoken defense of Brooklyn has fueled the rift, with TMZ citing claims that Victoria and David Beckham “scream at” and “verbally berate” their son, calling them “narcissistic.”
