Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly cut off communication with his famous family, telling them he wants “no contact” and ignoring their attempts to reach him, sources tell Page Six.
The 26-year-old is said to be taking a break from his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, and his siblings Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, with whom he was once very close.
This comes just as David Beckham, 50, prepares to receive his long-anticipated knighthood in King Charles’ birthday honors. While Brooklyn is said to be “thrilled” about the news, he allegedly only learned of it through the media.
An insider familiar with the Beckhams told Page Six the reason for the silence is because “Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he’s not responding to those that try to connect.”
However, a source close to Brooklyn denied this, saying, “Everyone’s focus should be David Beckham’s great honor.”
Brooklyn, who lives in Los Angeles with wife Nicola Peltz, 30, and runs the Cloud23 hot sauce brand, skipped his father’s 50th birthday party last month.
Reports claim he didn’t want to be in the same room as Romeo’s then-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, due to a past “situationship” they had before he met Nicola.
Since then, Romeo, 22, has split from Turnbull and is rumored to be seeing influencer Caroline Daur after they were spotted together in Paris.
Despite tensions with his parents and Romeo, insiders say there’s “no reason” for Brooklyn to cut off contact with Cruz, 20, or Harper, 13.
Sources also suggest Brooklyn has become closer to his in-laws, billionaire Nelson Peltz and wife Claudia, following multiple disagreements with his own family—particularly surrounding his wedding.
