A resurfaced video shows Katy Perry breaking down in tears on stage while performing “Resilient” during her Lifetimes Tour concert in Mexico City in April.
The “Dark Horse” singer struggled to sing through her sobs, pulling the microphone away so the crowd wouldn’t hear, but quickly regained composure to finish the song as fans cheered.
Supportive comments poured in online, though some were critical. Perry is still on tour, which began in April and runs through December.
Earlier reports suggested Perry and Orlando Bloom’s relationship was strained, with plans to split after the tour.
However, a source confirmed Wednesday that they have now officially ended their 10-year relationship: “Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable.”
The breakup had “been a long time coming,” with tensions rising partly due to the poor reception of Perry’s new album “143,” which left her “deeply frustrated” and stressed, according to sources.
Despite the split, the pair remain committed to peacefully co-parenting their 4-year-old daughter, Daisy.
“They are still very much in touch and co-parenting Daisy together,” a source said, adding they’re focused on maintaining stability for her and won’t make drastic changes to their lives in Montecito.
