Love Island’s Jeremiah Reveals If He’d Ever Get Back With Huda

It’s officially over for Jeremiah Brown and Huda Mustafa.

Following their dramatic split, Jeremiah was eliminated from the Love Island USA villa during the June 22 episode, and he had an emotional farewell chat with Huda that ended with a hug.

However, that doesn’t mean he’s open to rekindling anything. In fact, Jeremiah made it clear he has zero interest in reconnecting with Huda outside of the Peacock reality show.

Respectfully, no,” he told E! News exclusively. “She’s awesome and I wish her the best, but respectfully, not for me in the friendship or past that. So no, I’m good.”

When asked why he’s unwilling to reconcile, Jeremiah shared that seeing the episodes on TV gave him a new perspective on Huda, and he wishes he’d ended things with her earlier.

I got to watch some of the episodes back and I was just like, ‘Run, run, get up,’” the 25-year-old said. “It was just some of the things she was saying, bro.”

He described some of the “red flags” as her “moving too fast, too soon and not saying anything about it,” adding that he went along with it because he liked her, but that was the main issue.

Jeremiah admitted it took him a while to acknowledge these problems, explaining why it was difficult for him to act sooner.

It was just more like, ‘OK, I feel this way, but I’ve only had two hours of sleep, so let me make sure I’m not tripping,’” he said about questioning the red flags. “That’s why I feel like I was delayed with a lot of my actions and conversations, because it would take me an extra day or two to make sure I’m not wildin’.”

He went on to say, “I just wanted to make sure I was going about it the right way because I’m big on conflict resolution.”

The defining moment for him came on what he called “pancake day,” when Huda threw away the undercooked pancakes he made and complimented fellow islander Taylor Williams for giving her a better batch.

And I’m just like, ’Oh, hell,” Jeremiah said. “I was like, ‘Oh, f–k.’”

Now that he’s moved on from Huda, Jeremiah confessed there was someone else he regrets not getting a chance to build a deeper bond with: Andreina Santos, who caught his eye before he was eliminated.

We had just had a laid out, good ass foundation,” he shared. “We’re laughing our asses off together. I felt really at peace with her. So I’m excited to explore this and then didn’t get to. So, if she walks out single, I’m for sure gonna hit her up. But we’ll see.”
