David Beckham is currently recovering after being hospitalized. Victoria Beckham shared on her Instagram Story Friday that her husband had been admitted to the hospital.
In a photo she posted, the former soccer star is seen lying in a hospital bed, wearing a large blue sling on his right arm, dressed in a hospital gown, and with wires attached to his chest. Victoria, 51, captioned the photo: “Get well soon daddy.”
Shortly afterward, the fashion designer posted another picture of David after he was released from the hospital.
The Inter Miami CF co-owner, 50, appears resting comfortably in a plush white bed, holding a Taylor Swift-style friendship bracelet that reads “Get well soon.”
Victoria also offered a peek at David’s choice of recovery snacks by sharing a photo of several packets of his BeeUp energy fruit snacks.
She did not provide details about the reason for David’s medical treatment. A representative for David has not yet responded to request for comment.
According to the Irish Star, the former athlete underwent surgery to address a wrist fracture he originally suffered during a 2003 soccer match.
The publication reports that a recent X-ray revealed a screw lodged in David’s forearm from the initial surgery, which had never properly dissolved.
