Timothée Chalamet may be experimenting with a fresh new style.
The 29-year-old actor was seen in St. Tropez on Monday, joining his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, who’s been vacationing there with sister Kendall and a group of friends over the past few days.
While the Jenner sisters have been turning heads with their fashion-forward looks, it was Chalamet who captured attention thanks to his unexpected accessory choice: a Nike baseball cap held in place with a green bandana tied beneath his chin — channeling a “babushka-style” vibe.
Observant fans were quick to notice what appeared to be a buzzed neckline peeking out beneath his headwear.
“OMG BUZZ CUT!!??,” one fan tweeted in a panic.
“The italian grandmother chic is sending me 😭😭,” another joked.
“That’s disappointing. I guess we’re stuck with that for DUNE 3,” a third commented.
Reports suggest that filming for Dune: Messiah, the third installment in Denis Villeneuve’s Chalamet-led sci-fi saga, is kicking off this week in Budapest — and that the actor may have shaved off his trademark curls for the role.
Chalamet has also reportedly gotten rid of his much-discussed “Marty Supreme” mustache ahead of the film’s scheduled Christmas Day release.
Exactly how his character, Paul Atreides, will appear in the upcoming Dune movie remains a mystery, though the story is expected to pick up a decade after the events of Dune: Part Two.
